Q: My size is bigger/ smaller than what you offer. Can you do custom measurements? A: Please contact us via the contact page and we'll see what we can do. Many times we can size up or down an item, particularly with ascots. However this can vary from design to design. Please remember all custom items are all sales final. Q: How to I find my coat/ vest size? A: Your coat size is normally the width of your chest, or for those gentleman with a slight paunch, the waist (whichever is larger) plus 1-2". Ex: A 38" chest will wear a 39-40 coat. This of course varies from jacket model to jacket model, and we always reccomend that you get measurements professionally taken at a tuxedo, or men's shoppe to be certain. Most shops will do this for free.

Taken from the center base of the neck, to the shoulder seam, to the elbow, and down to the wrist. Fig 3: Chest measurement. Taken around the widest part of the chest, under the arms and over the shoulderblades. For a more accurate fit take the measurement after a deep breath has been taken to help puff out the cest to enable more movement in your garment. (measurements should be taken while wearing a thin t-shirt or dress shirt) Q: How do I find out my head measurement? A: Method 1: Take a flexible tape measure and measure the widest part of your head, usually right above the ears, snugly. This is slightly easier if you have a friend to help. Method 2: Take a long thin strip of paper and measure around your head, marking off where the two pieces touch. Take off the paper and measure it with a yard stick or regular ruler. This is also easier with assistance. The same technique can be used to find out your neck size (but not too snug when measuring, leave about 1-2 finger's width under the tape when measuring for ease in wear. ) and the width of your shoulders taken along the back |
